The challenge
eHub International operates across seven locations, and as the organisation grew, keeping endpoint protection and network security consistent across every site became harder to manage. The business needed centralised visibility into suspicious activity, stronger cyber resilience, and a security foundation that could support its compliance-readiness work, all delivered without disrupting day-to-day operations at any of the seven sites.
The solution
909 IT Solutions approached this as a two-phase engagement. The first phase deployed Huntress Managed EDR across the organisation’s endpoints, giving eHub International a consistent detection and response layer and a single, centralised view of endpoint security across all seven sites, with continuous managed monitoring and escalation support for validated concerns.
Building on that endpoint foundation, the second phase standardised the network layer: FortiGate firewalls and centrally managed wireless access points were rolled out to every site using a repeatable configuration baseline, with network segmentation separating corporate users, guest access and other operational traffic. The result is a common firewall, VLAN, wireless and administration standard that looks and behaves the same way at every location, which makes ongoing support and troubleshooting significantly simpler.
The result
eHub International now runs endpoint and network security as one consistent, centrally managed layer across all seven sites, rather than seven separate, loosely-connected setups. The standardised approach has improved wireless reliability, strengthened perimeter and endpoint protection together, and given the organisation a security model it can extend cleanly as it adds users, devices or new locations.
